Coiful de la Coțofenești a primit un aviz favorabil pentru începerea procesului de restaurare, după ce acesta a fost analizat fizico-chimic

The National Commission of Museums and Collections approved the restoration of the Coțofenești helmet, stolen from a Dutch museum. The National Museum of Romanian History will follow a detailed strategy for restoration, based on non-invasive physical-chemical analyses. The restoration process will begin with direct intervention on the helmet, following a comprehensive imaging documentation and a series of complex analyses. The helmet and two Dacian bracelets were stolen in January 2025, with the helmet being recovered over a year later. One bracelet remains missing, and three suspects were sentenced to nearly four years in prison.
