Codul Urbanismului: acoperișuri verzi obligatorii din 2027

Romania's new Urbanism Code introduces stricter regulations for real estate projects, focusing on climate adaptation. Starting January 1, 2027, buildings over 1,000 square meters must have green roofs, while parking areas must incorporate sustainable drainage and shading solutions. Local authorities will also define low-emission zones within a year. These measures aim to improve air quality and reduce urban heat islands.
