A heatwave is intensifying in Romania, with red alerts issued for four counties where temperatures may reach 41 degrees Celsius. The National Meteorological Administration has announced various heat warnings valid from August 3 to August 7. The heat will persist across most of the country, with maximum temperatures ranging from 28 to 40 degrees. Tropical nights are expected, with minimums between 20 and 26 degrees. Red alerts are specifically for Satu Mare, Bihor, Arad, and Timiș, where extreme temperatures could match August records. Other regions will also experience significant heat and discomfort.
