Cod portocaliu de caniculă în mai multe județe, cod galben de furtuni în Carpați

Meteorologists have issued an orange heat warning for several counties in Romania, predicting extremely high temperatures this weekend. The affected areas include Mehedinți, Dolj, Olt, Teleorman, Botoșani, and Iași, with temperatures reaching up to 38 degrees Celsius. A yellow heat warning is also in effect for the rest of the country, excluding Constanța and Tulcea. Additionally, rain and storms are expected in various regions, particularly in the Carpathians and northern Moldova, with strong winds and possible hail.
