Meteorologists warn that the heatwave will affect more regions, starting with the western and southwestern areas. The National Meteorological Administration has issued a weather alert indicating that discomfort will increase, with temperature-humidity indices exceeding critical levels. High temperatures between 33 and 39 degrees Celsius are anticipated, particularly in the western plains. The heatwave will persist and intensify from August 3 to 9, impacting larger areas of the country.
