The National Meteorological Administration (ANM) has issued a Yellow Code warning for heavy rain and strong winds in southern Romania. Rainfall is expected to spread across the country, particularly affecting the southeast on Monday, with accumulations of 15-20 liters per square meter, and locally exceeding 30 liters. At higher altitudes, precipitation will turn into sleet and snow. Wind gusts may reach 45-50 km/h in low areas and 70-90 km/h in mountainous regions. Bucharest will experience a significant weather change, with temperatures dropping from 28-29 degrees Celsius to 15-16 degrees, accompanied by rain and wind. A Yellow Code warning for significant rainfall is in effect for the capital until Tuesday.
