The National Institute of Hydrology and Water Management issued a yellow flood warning for several rivers across 18 watersheds, effective until Saturday noon. Significant runoff and rapid floods are expected, with possible exceedances of alert levels in various regions. The affected rivers include those in the Vișeu, Iza, Lăpuș, Someș, Criș, Mureș, and Târnava basins, among others. Hydrologists predict similar phenomena on smaller rivers in counties such as Maramureș, Bistrița-Năsăud, Cluj, Alba, Suceava, and Neamț.
