The National Meteorological Administration issued yellow alerts for heavy rain, hail, and strong winds for August 27 and 28. The first alert, effective from Thursday at 10:00 until Friday at 01:00, warns of significant rainfall, thunderstorms, and wind gusts up to 70 km/h, affecting Transylvania, Muntenia, southwestern Moldova, Dobrogea, and the Southern and Eastern Carpathians. Rainfall may reach 20 to 25 l/m² in short intervals, with localized areas exceeding 30 to 50 l/m². The second alert for wind intensification will be in effect on August 28 from 08:00 to 20:00, impacting Dobrogea, eastern Muntenia, and southeastern Moldova, with wind speeds of 50 to 70 km/h.
