CNSLR Frăţia a solicitat, la Bruxelles, măsuri concrete pentru extinderea negocierilor colective

The CNSLR-Frăţia union has called for concrete measures to enhance collective bargaining in Romania during the EU's Employment Committee meeting. Currently, only 42.6% of workers are covered by collective contracts, far below the EU's 80% target. The union highlighted the need for effective legal obligations and better consultation processes. They also advocated for mandatory social criteria in public procurement to support companies that respect workers' rights. The importance of EU funding for strengthening social partners was emphasized, especially in light of ongoing labor market transformations.
