CNPP: Aproape 4,7 milioane de pensionari în România. Pensia medie a ajuns la 2.785 de lei

As of July 2026, Romania had 4,677,789 pensioners, with a slight decrease from the previous month. The average pension was 2,785 lei, totaling 13.025 billion lei in pension rights. Among them, 509,062 worked in agriculture, receiving an average pension of 711 lei. The majority, 3,780,494, retired at the legal age, with an average pension of 3,117 lei. Additionally, 59,589 received early retirement pensions averaging 2,443 lei, while 389,281 were on disability pensions averaging 1,076 lei. Survivors' pensions were granted to 448,337 individuals, averaging 1,511 lei, and 88 pensioners received social assistance averaging 528 lei.
