Recent data indicates that nearly all vessels passing through the Strait of Hormuz have utilized a route designated by Iran, avoiding the southern route promoted by the U.S. military. A total of 78 ships were observed, with 20 under Iranian flags. Non-Iranian vessels predominantly favored the northern route, despite political tensions and sanctions. Local boats from the UAE were the only ones seen near the southern area, with no international commercial traffic reported there.
