CNIR anunță că s-au propuse șapte trasee pentru Autostrada București - Giurgiu care ar urma să asigure conexiunea cu Autostrada Ruse - Veliko Tărnovo

The National Company for Road Investments (CNIR) is evaluating seven route options for the Bucharest-Giurgiu Highway, which will connect Romania to Bulgaria. This highway aims to link with the ongoing Ruse-Veliko Tarnovo highway in Bulgaria, expected to be completed by 2028. The proposed routes will ensure modern connections with existing highways in Bucharest and improve transport standards between the capital and Giurgiu. A multi-criteria analysis will determine the best two routes for further evaluation. The project is part of a broader initiative to enhance regional connectivity and is funded by the European Union.
