CNAS lansează un proiect european pentru schimbul transfrontalier de imagini medicale, rezultate de laborator şi rapoarte de externare

The National Health Insurance House (CNAS) has launched a European project aimed at developing electronic and interoperable services for cross-border exchange of medical images, lab results, and discharge reports. This initiative, named RO-MI-LR-DR, is funded through the EU4Health program and aims to enhance continuity of care and access to relevant medical information for citizens seeking healthcare in other EU member states. The project will run until May 31, 2029, with the Special Telecommunications Service (STS) as an implementation partner. The total estimated cost is approximately €999,935, with EU funding covering 80% of eligible costs. This project will strengthen Romania's participation in the European digital health infrastructure, facilitating secure and efficient cross-border medical information exchange.
