CNAIR testează o nouă metodă de îmblânzit șoferii rebeli: covor roșu înainte de localități

Drivers entering towns in western Romania will encounter red carpet and electronic displays indicating speed, part of a national project aimed at reducing accidents. The National Company for Road Infrastructure Administration (CNAIR) has set up ten zones with red road carpet at the entrances and exits of five towns, funded by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR). This initiative aims to calm traffic and increase driver awareness. The red carpet zones are located in Timișoara's regional jurisdiction, including towns like Lipova, Mintia, Bănița, Bocșa, and Berzovia. Electronic displays show real-time vehicle speed, changing color based on compliance with speed limits. This project is part of broader measures by CNAIR to enhance road safety.
