CNAIR: Aplicarea tarifelor pentru rovinietă şi sistemul TollRo vor începe la 1 octombrie

Starting October 1, 2026, Romania will implement new road tolls and the electronic toll collection system for heavy vehicles. The new system, STRR, will be operational by August 31, 2026, and will include TollRo for vehicles over 3.5 tons. The law mandates that the tolls will be collected electronically, and mixed transport vehicles will be treated as freight vehicles. Additionally, interoperability with EU toll systems will be available from January 15, 2027.
