Club Feroviar: Două rame electrice PESA operate de CFR Călători s-au defectat, după numai două săptămâni de operare

Two electric trains from PESA, recently delivered to CFR Călători, have malfunctioned shortly after entering service, affecting their air conditioning and traction systems. The issues arose during their inaugural run and have persisted in subsequent events. As a result, CFR Călători reverted to traditional electric locomotives and carriages. The contract for these trains, signed in January 2024, includes a 15-year maintenance period and is funded by the EU's Modernization Fund. Despite timely delivery, the trains could not be operational earlier due to the lack of maintenance facilities from PESA.
