Clara-Alexandra Volintiru announced a new phase in Romanian sports diplomacy after a meeting with the National Agency for Sport and the first team of Sports Ambassadors for the Sport Ambassadors Network for Europe. The discussions emphasized the role of sports beyond competition, highlighting its potential to connect communities and promote a healthy society. The European project, co-funded by Erasmus+ Sport, aims to develop a network of sports ambassadors to promote inclusivity and a healthy lifestyle. Volintiru noted the importance of linking sports representation with Romanian diplomacy, indicating that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is open to leveraging this resource for Romania's international efforts. The collaboration between the Ministry and the National Agency for Sport aims to support Romanian athletes in international competitions and enhance sports diplomacy initiatives.
