The Vâlcea County Council has acquired 25 electric minibuses for student transport, funded by the Environmental Fund Administration, adding to 32 purchased last year. This brings the total to 57 minibuses available this fall. The investment exceeds 2.5 million euros, with the first 20 minibuses already distributed to various localities. These Ford minibuses have a capacity of 16+1, a range of 400 km, and a 10-year battery warranty. The remaining five vehicles will be delivered next month. Drivers have been trained to ensure readiness for the new school year.
