The Buzau County Council will cover the costs of road repairs due to natural disasters, as government support has not materialized. The most significant project is in Buda Craciunesti, where a landslide has severely damaged the road, with an estimated cost of 7.1 million lei. Council President Marcel Ciolacu criticized the government for not prioritizing local administrations and emphasized the need for urgent interventions. Despite initial suspicions about the quality of previous road works, expert evaluations confirmed that the damage was caused by natural factors rather than construction defects. A temporary detour has been established to maintain traffic while permanent repairs are planned.
