The Bucharest City Hall is working to recover approximately four hectares of Herăstrău Park currently managed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Mayor Ciprian Ciucu highlighted the area’s neglect and the need for its reintegration into the park. Discussions with the government and the ministry have resumed to facilitate this transfer. The mayor emphasized the importance of unified management of the park, which should serve all citizens, not just a privileged few. Plans for the park's regeneration include a management strategy and investment programs, alongside ongoing restoration works.
