The modernization of the Berceni depot is progressing and must be completed by the end of the year to avoid losing 52.2 million euros allocated for electric buses. Mayor Ciprian Ciucu announced that construction includes 55 charging stations and a 340-meter-long canal for the electric network. Additional charging stations are planned at other depots. The completion deadline is crucial for the operation of the newly acquired electric buses, which currently face charging limitations.
