Ciucu anunță că în apartamentele afectate de explozia din Rahova se vor monta senzori seismici
The Mayor of Bucharest, Ciprian Ciucu, announced the installation of seismic sensors in five apartment buildings affected by an explosion. This decision, proposed by the project designer, has delayed the technical project by about three weeks. The sensors will monitor cracks in the buildings and at the nearby Dimitrie Bolintineanu High School to address potential disputes regarding damage caused by ongoing works. The installation process is set to begin next week, with workers documenting the condition of the apartments. The mayor also reported that essential utility connections have been established and demolition work is set to commence soon. The explosion last October resulted in three fatalities and significant damage, rendering the building uninhabitable.
