Ciucu, anunț despre lucrările la blocul explodat din Rahova
The mayor of Bucharest, Ciprian Ciucu, will meet with residents of the building that exploded in Rahova last year to announce safety work. Heavy machinery is expected to arrive next week to begin securing the structure, which was severely damaged in the explosion that killed three people. The safety measures will take about 50 days and involve separating and demolishing affected floors. Residents will be able to retrieve their belongings after the initial work is completed, but not all will have access to their apartments. The company Apolodor is responsible for the safety measures, while some residents have reported serious health issues due to stress from the incident.
