Traffic on the section connecting Splaiul Independenței to Bulevardul Corneliu Coposu will reopen on Tuesday morning, ahead of schedule. The infrastructure reconstruction project in the capital is progressing well, with 15 out of 19 sections completed. The fourth phase, near the Horoscop restaurant, is expected to finish before the new school year, while the entire concrete slab will be ready by year-end. Additionally, a new tram line will connect the area to existing routes. A major infrastructure project for the Unirii Passage is planned to start in spring 2028, addressing critical overlaps in transport systems.
