The Bucharest City Hall has requested electric scooter operators to ensure that scooters cannot be used in parks, reinforcing existing regulations. Operators were asked to reduce the speed limit to zero in parks and during large public events. Lime, Bolt, and Splash responded positively, with Lime already implementing restrictions in several parks. Violations can result in fines up to 500 lei.
