Ciprian Ciucu critică costurile STB pe kilometru

The cost of public transport per kilometer in Bucharest has significantly increased compared to other cities, according to Mayor Ciprian Ciucu. He criticized the audit conducted by the Transport Public București-Ilfov Association, arguing it included irrelevant cost centers. Ciucu questioned the financial losses of STB's canteen and other facilities, suggesting they should not be part of the public transport budget. He also highlighted the outdated technology at the URAC repair plant and expressed concerns about STB's financial situation, particularly regarding its insolvency request. If the court denies the request again, private creditors may push for insolvency proceedings, potentially influencing the appointment of a judicial administrator.
