The project, starting in June 2026, involves six work sites and aims for completion by autumn next year. A partnership has secured €900,000 in private funding for initial studies and vegetation management. Public feedback indicates significant dissatisfaction with the park's current state, highlighting demands for more public toilets, trees, and improved pathways. The entire regeneration process is expected to take around four years.
