Ciprian Ciucu: 50 de zile vor dura lucrările de punere în siguranţă a blocului din Rahova afectat de explozie

The safety works for the building in Rahova, affected by an explosion, will take about 50 days, as announced by the mayor. Initial preparations, including utility connections, have been completed, and contracts with suppliers have been signed. The project requires seismic sensors to be installed in five staircases and a nearby school, which will delay the process by up to a month. Following this, the actual construction will begin. Residents will be allowed to retrieve their belongings under ISU supervision, and an expert assessment will determine if the building needs consolidation or demolition. The government ordinance for local authorities to intervene in disaster situations has not yet been adopted.
