A comprehensive retrospective of Romanian filmmaker Andrei Ujică will take place at MoMA in New York from September 11 to 16. Ujică will showcase his latest film, 'Matches and Days', and his recent feature 'TWST/Things We Said Today', reflecting on cultural moments like The Beatles' arrival in New York. His notable work 'Autobiografia lui Nicolae Ceaușescu' combines state propaganda footage to explore the fall of communism in Romania. The retrospective also includes 'Out of the Present', detailing a Russian cosmonaut's isolation during the Soviet Union's collapse, and other significant works that address historical narratives and technological implications.
