Cine vrea să taie din banii europeni. Siegfried Mureșan numește cele șase state aflate pe poziție opusă României: „Germania, Austria, Olanda greșesc”
Siegfried Mureșan highlighted six EU member states advocating for significant budget cuts, conflicting with Romania's interests for the 2028-2034 budget. He argues that these cuts would weaken the EU, especially in areas like agriculture and cohesion funding. Mureșan emphasized that the European Parliament will not accept a budget that inadequately funds farmers or cohesion policies. He proposed exploring new revenue sources, such as taxing large digital companies, instead of reducing traditional funds. The ongoing negotiations face challenges due to differing positions among member states regarding budget increases and new funding sources. A final agreement is needed by the end of the year, ahead of a busy electoral calendar in 2027.
