Cine vrea să proiecteze trenul metropolitan Sibiu: 5 oferte depuse pentru studiul de fezabilitate

Five bids have been submitted for the feasibility study of the future Sibiu Metropolitan Train, which aims to connect various areas including Selimbar and Sibiu Station. The estimated contract value is 7.5 million lei, equivalent to over 1.4 million euros. Companies from both Romania and abroad are interested in this project, which was launched in mid-July. The proposed train route will cover approximately 16 kilometers, utilizing existing railway infrastructure and including at least ten new stations. The project also plans for electrification and the acquisition of light electric trains, with a frequency of four trains per hour during peak times. The feasibility study will determine the technical and economic solutions for the project.
