Brașov County Council has contracted financial audit services for a major road infrastructure project funded by the EU. The audit, costing 183,400 lei, will verify expenses related to the modernization of the "Great Bypass of Brașov." The auditor will ensure that the funds requested for reimbursement are legitimate and compliant with regulations. Up to 14 financial audit reports will be produced throughout the project's implementation, which is expected to last until December 2029. The project, valued at over 526 million lei, aims to modernize several county roads and includes features like bike lanes and electric vehicle charging stations.
