The Bucharest Sector 1 Court has placed four of the five individuals arrested for violence during the farmers' protest under house arrest, while one was remanded in custody. The court rejected the preventive arrest requests from prosecutors, allowing the four to remain at home with restrictions on social media use. Gabriel Fugel, who lacks a residence in Romania, was the only one to be detained. The other four, including Ciprian Ştefan Pamfile, identified as an instigator, will wear electronic monitoring devices. The court's decision can be contested within 48 hours. Six individuals were detained in total, with one found carrying a knife but not facing preventive measures.
