Mihai-Alexandru Badea will take over the vacant USR deputy mandate following Claudiu Năsui's resignation. He previously served as a deputy from 2020 to 2024. USR president Dominic Fritz informed the Chamber of Deputies about this change, confirming Badea as the next candidate from the party's list. Năsui resigned to join the Moldovan government as Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization. Badea, a lawyer in Bucharest, has been active in USR since 2016 and previously led initiatives against corruption. He is currently the vice president of USR Sector 1 and has a background in legal legislative work.
