Marie-France van Heel, the wife of new UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham, has taken on the unofficial role of the Prime Minister's partner. They met at Cambridge University in 1989 and have been together for over thirty years. Marie-France, known as Frankie, appeared on 'Blind Date' in 1992 before marrying Burnham in 2000. She has a career in marketing, currently serving as CMO of Iduna, a company focused on electric vehicle infrastructure. Despite her husband's new role, neither she nor their three children are expected to move permanently to Downing Street.
