Cinci străzi pe care sibienii le vor mai sigure: zeci de cereri pentru montarea de bumpere, semafoare sau treceri de pietoni

Residents of Sibiu are demanding safer streets, particularly on Calea Cisnădiei and other key areas, but many requests for speed bumps and pedestrian crossings have been rejected. The municipality received over 50 petitions this year, with 30 specifically for speed bumps, of which only 6 were approved. The rejection of requests is based on technical evaluations by a specialized committee, considering safety regulations and potential noise impact. Alternative measures, such as better signage and illumination for pedestrian crossings, have been proposed instead of speed bumps in residential areas.
