Brașov police conducted intensive traffic operations on September 29 and 30 to prevent serious accidents and catch speeding drivers. They issued 141 fines totaling over 53,000 lei, with 86 cases of excessive speed recorded. Five drivers had their licenses suspended for exceeding speed limits by more than 50 km/h. Additionally, 17 pedestrians and cyclists were fined for traffic violations. Police emphasize that such operations will continue to ensure road safety and accountability among all road users.
