Cinci senatori au migrat la PSD. Partidul și-a mărit grupul parlamentar după revenirea la guvernare

The PSD parliamentary group in the Senate has expanded by five members who previously ran on SOS and POT lists. This change follows the party's return to power and alters the political landscape in the Senate. The new members include Ionel Carp, Valentina-Mariana Aldea, Liviu Sorin Robe, Cristian Bem, and Robert Daniel Ghiță. These shifts come after the dissolution of the PACE group and also coincide with PNL's recent addition of senator Gheorghe Ștefănache. Following these transfers, PSD now holds 40 seats, leading over AUR and PNL, which have 30 and 27 seats respectively. A total of 68 votes are required for passing organic laws in the Senate.
