Cinci piloți români intră în lupta pentru titlul mondial la acrobație aeriană, clasa Unlimited, în SUA

Romania will send five pilots to the World Aerobatic Championship in the Unlimited class, following a successful year in other categories. The competition takes place from August 23 to September 2, 2026, in Mason City, Iowa. Romanian pilots include Laszlo Ferencz, Valentin Caval, Vlad Popescu, Dan Ștefănescu, and Romain Fhal, who have begun training for the event. Last year, Romania excelled in the Advanced and Intermediate classes, with notable podium finishes. The pilots will demonstrate their skills in a one-cubic-kilometer airspace, known as the 'box'. The championship has been held since 1960, evolving into various categories.
