Cinci directori ai gigantului petrolier polonez ORLEN au fost reținuți de procurori pentru că ar fi scăzut prea mult prețul carburanților în benzinării - Economica.net

Five current and former managers of ORLEN were detained by the Internal Security Agency amid an investigation into unjustified fuel price reductions. The investigation, ongoing for over two years, focuses on price manipulations between August and November 2023, coinciding with the parliamentary elections. Despite rising oil prices, fuel prices in Poland decreased, raising suspicions of political motivations. Following the elections, fuel prices began to rise significantly. ORLEN, the largest industrial company in Central and Eastern Europe, reported revenues of approximately $73 billion in 2025 and operates the largest network of gas stations in the region.
