On Friday evening, Her Majesty Margareta and Prince Radu hosted a family dinner at Elisabeta Palace ahead of their 30th wedding anniversary celebrations. Attendees included Princess Sofia, Princess Maria, and close friends from Romania and abroad. A celebration is scheduled for Saturday, September 19, at the palace garden, featuring performances by the Royal Choir and a children's orchestra. Margareta and Radu married on September 21, 1996, in Lausanne, Switzerland, as King Michael was not allowed to return to Romania at that time.
