Cifra de afaceri din industrie a scăzut, în termeni nominali, cu 0,5%, în primul semestru

The industrial turnover in Romania decreased by 0.5% in the first half of 2026 compared to the same period in 2025, primarily due to a 0.9% decline in the processing industry. However, the extractive industry saw a significant increase of 10.2%. In June 2026, the industrial turnover rose by 6.1% from the previous month, driven by a 29.1% increase in the extractive sector and a 5.1% rise in processing. Year-on-year, June 2026 also showed a 4.4% increase in industrial turnover, with the extractive industry growing by 49.7%.
