However, the extractive industry saw a growth of 2.3%. In May, industrial turnover increased by 6.1% from the previous month, driven by gains in both the extractive and processing industries. Year-on-year, turnover fell by 0.5%, with the extractive sector growing significantly by 19.7%. Various industrial sectors experienced mixed results, with some showing declines while others reported increases.
