In 2025, forestry units reported a turnover of 4.132 billion lei, down 21.5% from 5.26 billion lei in 2024. Sales of forest seedlings and seeds decreased significantly, while there were notable increases in other forest products like timber and berries. The volume of standing timber sold reached 8.056 million cubic meters, with a significant rise in the volume of sawn timber. Average prices for standing timber and sawn timber were reported at 230.1 lei and 335.3 lei per cubic meter, respectively.
