Lidl's operations supported over 679,000 full-time jobs annually and collaborated with over 3,300 local suppliers, directing €16.4 billion to them. The analysis by KPMG highlights Lidl's role as a key player in the Romanian retail sector, with a projected gross added value of €16.1 billion by 2025. CEO Alberto Chueca emphasized Lidl's commitment to further investments and economic growth in Romania.
