Belgian cyclist Rutger Wouters won the second stage of the 2026 Tour of Romania, covering 147.2 kilometers from Iași to Piatra Neamț in 3 hours, 26 minutes, and 59 seconds. He was followed closely by Irish rider Ronan O’Connor, finishing just 3 seconds behind. Hungarian András Gustáv Pakot secured third place, arriving 13 seconds after Wouters. Cristian Răileanu was the top Romanian finisher, placing seventh, also 13 seconds behind the winner. The stage featured a total elevation gain of 1,593 meters. The next stage promises to be challenging, with a route from Piatra Neamț to Băile Balvanyos over 198.4 kilometers.
