CIA a publicat documente care avertizau asupra planurilor lui Osama bin Laden, cu ani înainte de atentatele din 11 septembrie
The CIA has declassified over 70 documents related to Al-Qaida and Osama bin Laden, marking 25 years since the September 11 attacks. This release aims to provide unprecedented transparency regarding the agency's understanding of Al-Qaida and its threats. One document from 1998 warned of a potential plane bombing in a U.S. city, while another indicated preparations for attacks, including hijacking. The September 11 attacks resulted in nearly 3,000 deaths, carried out by 19 Al-Qaida members.
