The Ministry of Defense of Moldova reported the detection of a Shahed 136 drone in its airspace early Sunday morning. The drone, originating from Ukraine, flew over the Gagauzia region before leaving Moldovan airspace towards Romania. Romanian authorities confirmed the drone's presence and successfully intercepted it shortly after. The incident is linked to ongoing Russian airstrikes in Ukraine, prompting cooperation between Moldovan and international defense agencies.
