Chisăliţă: Importurile pot salva deficitul de energie într-un scenariu regional favorabil, după oprirea de la Cernavodă
Romania faces a nuclear energy deficit after shutting down its reactors, relying on imports that may not be guaranteed due to regional conditions. The country could lose 1,400 MW of stable energy production, increasing dependence on neighboring countries, which are also experiencing reduced energy output. The maximum consumption is estimated at 7,300 MWh/h, with potential peaks during heatwaves. Bulgaria is the main source for imports, but its capacity is uncertain, while Hungary and Serbia also face challenges. Prices for energy are expected to rise significantly, with potential spikes reaching 5,000 lei/MWh. Romania's energy security is at risk if further production losses occur in neighboring countries.
