Air China has launched its first direct flight from Beijing to Bucharest, operational since September 4, 2026. Flights are scheduled on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays using Airbus A330-200 aircraft. This new route connects Bucharest directly to China, marking a significant return since the last direct flight in 2003. The inaugural flight was celebrated with a water salute at Henri Coandă Airport, highlighting its strategic importance in linking Central and Southeast Europe to China.
